WWD Apparel & Retail CEO Summit


Welcome to Movers + Makers – the people who are helping to drive the industry forward in this increasingly complex, competitive and consumer-driven world.

That is the theme of this year’s WWD Apparel & Retail CEO Summit, which will be held October 29  and 30 at The InterContinental New York Barclay Hotel. We would be pleased if you would join us for what is, once again, likely to be a series of fascinating sessions.

The industry continues to see tectonic changes that are happening at an increasingly fast pace. While technology is driving many of these changes, in the end the main driver is the consumer, who is more demanding, more selective and more in control than ever. How fashion leaders are dealing with that consumer – from the Baby Boomer to the Millennial to Gens Z and Alpha – will be an important focus of the Summit, as will issues ranging from sustainability to adaptability, global expansion to the role of the designer.

For the two days of the Summit, WWD has put together an impressive lineup of global brand executives, dealmakers, designers and thought leaders – the Movers and the Makers of the industry today – to share their viewpoints and experiences, some in conversations with WWD’s senior editors. The first day of the Summit will culminate with the WWD Honors, which in its fourth year has been expanded to become the industry’s first truly global awards event.
